The library is the heart of the institution. All the areas of Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, Bioprocessing and Bioinformatics have been almost covered. About 5300 books have been purchased from the date establishment till today which cost around 6 million. Within a short span of time the library was setup due to the urge of field of biotechnology and Bioinformatics. The library also includes a reading room which can accommodate 200 students to study isolate. The library has volumes of undergraduate, textbooks and reference books and the Institute subscribes to Indian and foreign journals.
