The institute has the ultramodern laboratories with full fledged with all the latest equipments such as HPLC, DNA sequencer, Gradient-PCR, Laboratory Fermentor, Gel Documentation system, ELISA reader, various blotting apartus, Plant tissue culture racks,CO2 incubator,-20 and -86 degree Celsius deep freezer, double distillation unit, UV visible spectrophotometer, cold centrifuge, inverted phase contrast Microscope, etc all the latest range of the equipments. The total investment on the laboratory is about 30 million rupees. The institutes work is continuously going in all the wings of biotechnology such as animal cell tissue culture lab, plant tissue culture lab, genetics research lab, biochemistry & molecular biology lab., and the Microbiology lab.
Research facilities are provided to the students according to their area of interest. The laboratory is been divided into various sections like Industrial & Environmental Biotechnology, Chemical Biotechnology, Microbial biotechnology, Genetics Engineering, Research Lab, Chromatography and Cubics.
Institute have also maintained its own microbiology bank, cell line bank & DNA profile bank. Apart from this, Insititute laboratories also provides services like PCR based molecular disease diagnostics, Karyotyping, Soil analysis, Water analysis, etc.
