Term of the Members The terms of the members nominated from institute will be two years.
Meetings: Ordinarily, the Women’s committee may meet atleast once a month but in the event of urgency, a meeting may be called by the chairman as and when required. 50% of the total membership of the committee will form quorum at a meeting and also, 50% of the total membership may requisition a meeting for discussing any matter related to the functioning of the cell.
Objective of the Cell: "To prevent and deter the commission of any act of harassment, including sexual harassment and to provide the procedure for resolution, settlement, or prosecution of acts of sexual harassment by taking all required steps. Women shall have right to gender equality and to work with dignity and to have working environment safe and protected from sexual harassment or abuse and appropriate work conditions in respect to health and hygiene."
